For students

Check your essay, assignment or dissertation before you hand it in, so the first person to read the reports is you.

When it helps

Reading your two reports

AI Detection Report

  • It is an indicator, not a verdict. Read it alongside your own drafts and notes.
  • Your course or institution decides what AI use is allowed. Check its policy before you rely on any tool.
  • Keep your drafts and research notes. They show how your work developed if anyone asks.

Similarity Report

  • Quotations and reference lists usually match their sources. That is expected when they are cited correctly.
  • Look for passages that match a source but have no quotation marks or no citation.
  • Close paraphrases can match too. Rewrite them in your own words and cite the source.

Before you submit

  1. Finish the draft, including references and appendices.
  2. Upload the exact file you plan to submit, as a PDF or Word document.
  3. Read the Similarity Report first and fix any missing citations or quotation marks.
  4. Read the AI Detection Report and compare it with your course policy and your drafts.
  5. Download both PDFs within 48 hours of them being ready.

Questions, answered

Something else? Contact support and we will reply by email.

Will my document be shared with my university?

No. We do not send your document or reports to your school, you can download the reports for 48 hours, and we permanently delete our copies within 96 hours. The Privacy Policy explains what our analysis provider keeps under its own terms.

Can I check a draft more than once?

Yes. Each check is a new upload and uses credits only for the reports you choose.

Does a low result mean my work will be accepted?

No report can promise that. Your instructor or institution decides how your work is assessed; the reports help you review it first.
